These terms govern your use of devendrasaini.com and any consulting services delivered by Devendra Saini under his own name as an independent SEO, GEO and AEO consultant.

By using this website, requesting a proposal, or signing an engagement letter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or engage us for paid work.

Devendra Saini operates as an independent consultant with offices in Udaipur and Bengaluru, India. Services include SEO strategy and execution, Local SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), programmatic SEO consulting, technical audits, content strategy, link acquisition advisory, and team-building / mentorship for in-house SEO functions.

Engagements may be one-off audits, fixed-scope projects, monthly retainers, or hourly advisory. The specifics of each engagement, including deliverables, timelines, pricing and access requirements, are documented in a separate engagement letter signed before work begins.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. Specifically you will not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its CMS, or its hosting infrastructure.

• Scrape content systematically beyond what a normal browser visit involves.

• Use the site to send unsolicited commercial communication ("spam") or attempt to inject malicious code.

• Reproduce substantial portions of the site's written content on another property without written permission.

You may quote short excerpts (under 200 words) with credit and a link back to the source page on this site.

Any proposal sent in response to an enquiry is valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Proposals are not binding until accepted in writing by both parties via a signed engagement letter or an email acknowledgement that explicitly references the proposal terms.

Once accepted, the engagement letter takes precedence over these site terms wherever the two cover the same subject (scope, fees, timelines, IP, confidentiality).

• Indian clients are invoiced in INR plus applicable GST. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is charged at the standard rate per Indian tax law at the time of invoicing.

• International clients are invoiced in USD or the agreed currency. Payment terms are net 7 unless otherwise agreed, via bank transfer or Wise / equivalent.

• Monthly retainer fees are invoiced on the first business day of each month, in advance.

• Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month after a 14-day grace period.

• Quoted fees do not include third-party tool costs (Ahrefs, Semrush, hosting, content production), unless explicitly bundled in the engagement letter.

• Either party may cancel a retainer engagement with 30 days written notice. Fees for work already delivered are non-refundable.

• Fixed-scope projects may be cancelled mid-engagement; you remain liable for fees pro-rata to work completed at the time of cancellation.

• One-off audits are non-refundable once the audit has commenced.

• No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billed month.

On full payment of the relevant invoice, you receive a perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables produced specifically for your business (audits, content, technical recommendations, schema, briefs) within your own organisation.

We retain ownership of:

• Frameworks, methodologies, tools, templates, scripts and proprietary research developed independently of any specific client engagement.

• Anonymised performance data from client engagements, used for benchmarks and case studies. We will name a client in published case studies only with prior written permission.

• All content published on this website, unless explicitly licensed otherwise.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared during an engagement, including (without limitation) your business strategy, customer data, marketing data, financials, and technical infrastructure. This obligation survives the end of the engagement indefinitely.

SEO, GEO and AEO outcomes depend on factors outside any consultant's direct control, including Google algorithm changes, AI engine training cycles, competitor activity, your team's implementation speed, and the inherent state of your site at the start of an engagement. We do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic numbers, or revenue outcomes, anyone making such guarantees in this industry is either misinformed or being dishonest.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Our total liability for any claim related to a paid engagement is capped at the fees actually paid to us by the client in the 6 months preceding the claim.

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

These terms and any engagement under them are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be attempted in good faith via direct negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

For international clients, this jurisdiction clause does not prevent you from exercising consumer-protection rights you may have under your home jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last reviewed" date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. Material changes affecting active engagements will be communicated to the client by email before they take effect.
